As a young, expectant mother this child makes me want to scream. Calm down little girl, what the hell happened to fantasizing about owning a pony…which by the way is a lofty ideal which can be transformed into a tangible financial goal- though- she may prefer a horse, car or apartment by that time.
What the hell has this child been exposed to, to think this way? Absolutely disturbing. Making a video of your child’s paranoid rants and fear’s is not the way to handle the situation, unless you as an adult have no morals what so ever.
Implying marriage and men are the new goblins and ghosts makes me hedge my bets that the guardian of this child is quite an unpleasant, bitter, selfish individual with more than a few skeletons in the closet.

If you visit the you-tube link the child’s older sister writes a disclaimer that she videotaped her younger sister performing this pre-pubescent vagina monologue. (Ugh GROSS) I am not implying any trauma or harm has been done in filming her, child actors get covered in blood on camera everyday…..no biggie. I do have issue with taking this video as a testimonial to how one should think and behave as a child.
Kids will do and say anything if they know it pleases an audience of one or one hundred. I, for one, am glad her sister took responsibility for posting the video and wrote the disclaimer. To that, I say- great job little girl, here is a lolly pop- well done, go play, you have all the time in the world to fret about relationships… chill out.

They’re already exposed to the extreme sexualisation of their toys (Bratz and Barbie dolls etc) and having mini high heels and lingerie marketed at them, they do not need to be thinking about their future careers or relationships. Yes. I am a young expectant mother, never mind that I have personally started up 2 non for profit businesses of my own in addition to helping develop and manage my fiance’s two businesses. I started young and I have 10 years experience being successful and self made.
As a woman myself, in addition to my career goals, I am more than proud to say that I am pursuing the goal of having a child with the man I love. Jobs and careers are great- we all need them and I am not knocking them.
Of course I take all my opinions personally. I am not going around spouting a bunch of half developed thoughts and defensive remarks. You think the kid is cute, I think the kid is annoying, real or play acting, I am not trying to interpret what the kid means, nor determine what I think the kid’s future goals should be. However I don’t like the idea of posting a video under the premise that this kid has got it all figured out.
I almost forgot about you Rachel, it takes about 2 minutes to express yourself in printed words clearly as opposed to 2 seconds to make yourself look like an idiot with one sentence. Get at me Boo.
