Seeing as this is a regular segment, you should really put some serious thought into how you’re going to interview these random guys. As in think of solid, relate-able, go to questions ahead of time that will work better and be easier for the stranger to open up to you with.
It feels like you’re just improvising on the spot in all of these interviews and it really trips up the guys & drives a lot of them into their lame mono-tone, 0 personality shells. I have yet to watch one of these and hear an interesting story or insight.
I’m not saying I know how exact to do this, but I’m not filming these interviews, you are. Good luck.
dude of the day used to be the post i looked most forward to. but these interviews by the new intern make me cringe. can’t sit through one of them. i’m DYING to see some more videos like you used to make when you first started imboycrazy. i mean, i’ve been coming to this blog for years, because of alexi, definitely not izzy. not to sound harsh, but she’s your intern and should totally be just that.
Yeah, Izzy is a real awful interviewer. I’m a journalism student so I can appreciate a good interview in any context be it the NYT or a boycrazy blog. As much as Alexi appears to just be being herself I think there’s a lot more planning and practice that goes into her interviews. Izzy’s interviews lack structure, flow or even good listening and decrease the quality of content.
I feel like the guys being interviewed by Izzy are all in highschool. These boys are to young to be giving an opinion on what they are looking for in women. It would be okay if only a few were younger…just to get all perspectives, but there needs to be more variety. I agree with the above posters, especially the person who said it used to be a post they most looked forward to. It is almost dreadful now.

because i’m honestly bored to death with “dude of the day” since she started.
her inquiries blatantly suck and the males she interviews are lack luster and uninteresting.

hey, i’m the guy who is being interview. Sorry for coming off as a douche. I just watched it and I do look and sound like one but I’m really not. When I meant i like to hookup with other girls i meant when your done with a relationship, not in one (that’s cheating and would never, ever cross my mind) Once again, sorry.
Also, Please respect Izzy. She is genuinely one of the nicest, sweetest, beautiful girls i know. She is just doing her job. Imagine if you got this job, would you like everyone to bag on you? I don’t think so.
